How do people view you and your business? Are you ready to prove who you say you are?

When it comes to marketing, do you aim to make a particular impression, or do you slap stuff out there and hope some of it sticks?

It’s not as scary as it sounds when you know how.

Let me state at the outset this is not about logos and colours.

This is about the impression that your business makes on people. The personality of your business.

If your business walked into a room, how would people describe it? Helpful? Bold? Flamboyant? Creative? Innovative? Humourous? Serious? Authoritarian? Nurturing?

If you were to demonstrate these personality traits are true, what would that look like, and how would you do it?

The aim of today is to dig deeper into your brand personality so that it can be reflected in your posts, and you can physically DEMONSTRATE these personality traits.

STEP 1: What are the personality traits of your business?

List your 5 business personality traits


STEP 2: How can you demonstrate these personality traits? Chose mediums most suitable. It’s not necessary to do everything!

Examples could be video, blogs, testimonials, inspirational images, live demonstrations, speaking to groups.

STEP 3: Where can you share this so prospects and referrers see it? Go where your audience hangs out. Be strategic.


  • What is important to your client?
  • What does your client need to know?
  • What do you deliver and how can you back that up?
  • How can you build their belief in what you are claiming?
  • How you can demonstrate your difference.
