With just 6 or 7 topics you can start to carve out an impression of how you can best serve people.
For example, my topics are marketing, health promotion, health writing, blogging, MailChimp, WordPress and writing for the web. These are the things I most likely get referrals for or shoutouts on social media.
It makes getting clients much easier!
Once you are clear on your topics, you can populate your social media and website content with them.
This is very important when it comes to being found by Google.
One of the key elements for Google algorithms is the topic mix on your site. Google’s priority is to deliver relevant websites to its customers – the people who are searching. When your topics are clear, Google knows it!
Your topics become your central focus for your blogs and other marketing assets, such as opt-ins and social media posts.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Talk about one topic at a time when creating web content, blogs, and other marketing assets. Trying to squeeze too many topics into one confuses your customer, as well as Google!
So today I’m asking – what are YOUR key topics? Are you creating consistent content around them?
When you can nail this combination, your message is clear. You will benefit and so will your new clients.
It’s a beautiful thing!
